Interview Coaching FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Investing in any type of coaching is a big decision. At Bold Career Talk LLC, we believe in full transparency in both the buying and coaching process. If you have a question that you don’t see answered below, please contact us and we’ll do our best to answer it.

I mostly work with mid-career and senior-level professionals in corporate roles, including Project Managers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Marketing Managers.

That being said, I’ve worked with job seekers across industries and experience levels – from entry-level all the way up to VP and C-suite roles. What I’ve found is that the approach I teach is universal enough to work across most industries and role types.

For the most part, I recommend clients give themselves about 1 week to both familiarize themselves with the program materials and meet for our coaching sessions.

I also offer a “rush” option (if you want to prepare for an interview taking place within 4 business days), as well ongoing support (if you prefer coaching for multiple job postings or extended rounds of interviews).

Once we meet for a free consultation and decide to work together, you can start going through the learning materials right away. I usually have availability within the next few business days for our coaching sessions.

My pricing ranges from $449-1099, depending on the level of services you are needing.

Each of my programs is comprehensive, wholistic, and designed to give you everything you need to succeed. In order to ensure I provide my clients with the best support possible, I do not offer one-off or “a la carte” coaching sessions.

You can find more information about program pricing in the Services page.

Unlike other coaches who offer interview services in addition to resume writing and job search support, my sole focus is helping you with job interviews.

As an interview specialist, my “secret sauce” is mindset. That means that not only will I show you how to improve your interview communication, I’ll also help you overcome self-doubt and get into the right mindset so you can perform at your best.

Since there are many external factors at play in the job search process, the success metric I focus on is whether my clients improved their interview communication and confidence after going through my programs.

92% of coaching clients surveyed reported feeling more prepared to answer interview questions, as well as more confident about their interviews overall.

A large number of my clients go on to use these new skills to land exciting job offers! Click here to see in-depth reviews and case studies from past clients.

My journey into coaching started when I realized I had a knack for communicating professional value after making a huge career change. About a year into this pivot, I had broken into a brand-new industry and risen the ranks faster than my peers, because I knew how to present myself in a way that resonated with the people who make hiring decisions.

In 2023, I saw how many talented individuals were missing out on job opportunities simply because they couldn’t articulate themselves in a way that resonated with hiring teams. I started sharing tips and strategies on social media, and after receiving dozens of messages from people saying I’d helped them land jobs, I knew I found my calling. I started offering paid programs for individuals who wanted more in-depth support, became officially certified, and thus, Bold Career Talk was born!

I’m certified by the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC) as a Certified Interview Coach.

A good rule of thumb is you should be getting interviews for 10% to 20% of the jobs you apply to. Anything less means your bottleneck might be your resume, job search strategy, or both.

Interview coaching can help if you’re getting invited to interviews, but…

  • You’re not getting past the first round of interviews
  • You can get to the final round of interviews, but you haven’t received any offers
  • You are starting to job search and need to be ready for an interview at any moment

Unlike most job search coaches who spread their time across multiple areas of the job search, I am 100% dedicated to helping you master your interview skills.

At this time, I do not offer resume, LinkedIn, or job search support. If you need help with those areas before tackling your interview skills, I’m happy to refer you to a trusted colleague.

All of my interview prep programs are 100% remote.

You’ll access the interview course and materials via a digital learning platform called ThriveCart. All of our coaching sessions will take place over Zoom.

You’ll get instant access to all program materials (including training videos, workbooks, and resources) as soon as your payment is processed. You’ll have access to the materials for one full year.
